In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
The intern (chemical engineering) under Industrial Software COE will: – Undergo training on technology and products offered by Industrial Software CoE. Some of the training would be self paced computer based training. – Assist the assigned mentor on completion of project work or initiatives and activities the mentor assigns – Report progress on periodic basis to mentor at Emerson as well as mentor assigned by the educational institute – Work with mentor assigned by educational institute to complete all academic requirements Prepare and submit a compilation / report of work performed as well as learnings on conclusion of internship to Emerson assigned mentor as well as mentor assigned by educational institute.

- • Ability to read P&IDs, PFDs
- • Ability to work with proficiency with MS Office applications including MS Word, MS Excel , MS PowerPoint and Visio
- • Ability and willingness to undergo technical as well as soft skills training as assigned by mentors
- • Knowledge of fundamentals of unit operations and process, process equipment design, numerical analysis methods and industrial stoichiometry
- • Experience in Microsoft Excel VBA Macro Development and/or Microsoft Access •
