Key Responsibilities
- Structural Analysis
- Perform structural assessments for aircraft components and assemblies.
- Conduct static, fatigue, vibration, and damage tolerance analyses.
- Calculate loads and evaluate structural performance under different operating conditions.
- Structural Integrity Evaluation
- Analyze components using classical engineering methods and finite element modeling techniques.
- Verify structural strength and identify potential areas for improvement.
- Load Analysis
- Create Free Body Diagrams (FBDs) and map structural load paths.
- Generate applied loads, interface loads, and internal load distributions.
- Documentation and Reporting
- Prepare technical reports, strength check notes, and engineering documentation.
- Update and maintain stress analysis reports using MS Office tools.
- Project Coordination
- Manage assigned engineering tasks while ensuring project timelines and quality standards are met.
- Monitor key engineering performance indicators such as On-Time Delivery (OTD) and First Pass Yield (FPY).
- Collaboration
- Work with cross-functional teams across different business units.
- Communicate technical findings and provide engineering solutions to complex structural challenges.
