Job Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Finance Apprentice to join our team at Capita in Vikhroli. This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in finance and accounting while learning the foundational aspects of the field. The selected candidate will assist with essential accounting tasks, including invoice processing, general ledger maintenance, and journal entries.
Key Responsibilities:
- • Assist with basic accounting tasks such as data entry, reconciliation, and preparing financial reports.
• Process invoices, ensuring timely and accurate record-keeping.
• Maintain the general ledger by updating entries and verifying account balances.
• Support the finance team with journal entries, including adjustments, accruals, and reclassifications.
• Work closely with the team to assist in monthly and quarterly closing activities.
• Participate in financial audits and provide necessary documentation as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
Skills and Qualifications:
- • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles (general ledger, journal entries, invoices, etc.).
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting software/tools is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work within a structured shift time of 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM.
