Job Responsibilities
As a Graduate Apprentice Trainee, selected candidates will be involved in production planning, material coordination, and monitoring manufacturing activities. Some of the major responsibilities include:
- Planning and monitoring machine production on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis according to the assigned production plan.
- Conducting morning Gemba meetings to discuss and review the production plan for the day.
- Organising daily closure meetings to review the day’s production performance and report the results.
- Preparing and sharing the daily material shortage list with the PPC, MM, and Warehouse teams.
- Following up on material receipts based on the identified shortage list.
- Ensuring that painted components are available from the Parts Paint Shop for assembly according to the production plan.
- Monitoring and managing the inventory of required components.
- Supporting the implementation of Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and following up on their release, implementation, availability, and disposition of parts.
